Confirmed pet-quality, family-friendly behaviour. From cage, shows consistent manner in approaching handler and emerges from cage on first attempt without needing too much positive encouragement. Ready for immediate sale to inexperienced new owner. Plays with other pet birds being trained in our nursery. Obviously, requires ongoing attention to maintain pet status.
7 - 8
Sweet & friendly personality. Very consistent with stepping-up behaviour. Inquisitive, and will approach handler readily.
5-6
Reasonably calmer than 3-4 rated bird & showing nice overall temperament. Will step-up most times without too much reluctance.
4 - 4.5
Just weaned juvenile, now being hand-trained.

Nippy, but calms after some positive handling, may try to fly away from handler, no "step-up", but shows potential to move up our ratings scale.
1-2
Aggressive, difficult to catch & handle, "bitey & flighty", potential breeder bird.
0-1
Requires considerable work to possibly reach pet status, and probably best reserved for future breeding purposes.
